A leader must always stay focused on the goal. This is where the leader is seen as a role model. He must believe in his full potential to make things happen. Only by believing in himself first will he be able to lead his people.

The role of the leader within a team is not only to provide motivation to his members. He has to be an active participant in events. He has to be a doer, one who works with the team, not just a spectator that watches the team work to reach a goal. A good leader leads a team, but a great leader is part of the team he leads.

:: A Leader Knows when to Say "I Can"

A leader must never give up on his team. Even when a situation becomes too demanding, he is still able to portray a ‘We can do it!’ attitude. This little act of certainty goes a long way in inspiring and motivating the entire team to keep on moving towards achieving their goal.
